Just wanted to mention a few good birds that I have seen around recently. On a drive on the reserve I saw a pair of Red-necked falcons. The next day I saw a pair of them at the lodge. We see them in the area year round, but they are never common.
We also had a pair of Secretary birds near the lodge. It is very unusual for us to see these birds here in the desert.
