In Swakopmund and beginning Frantic Naturalist

We are now in Swakopmund and busy. It's a big change for us. I am working on changing the website, which should be up shortly.

I have managed to go out birding yesterday afternoon at the Mile 4 salt works. There seem to be lots of flamingos around, but I didn't see much of interest. I will start posting lists of birds seen at my regular sites soon. As soon as things start to run smoothly I will buy an SLR and long lens and start putting some pics on the blog.

Keep an eye on our website, Frantic Naturalist, because I will be updating it very soon. Our main products:

Day trips:
1. Cape Cross - this is an area with a Cape fur Seal colony and crosses from the first European landing in southern Africa
2. Giant Welwitschia - See Welwitschia plants - strange long lived plants found only in the Namib desert
Namibia tours:
Etosha Intensive - travel to this amazing National Park and experience it properly
Death By Dunes - Lots of time spend around dunes, with lots of walking
Cave Decor - A tour of interesting rock art sites in Namibia
Slice of the Best - A tour around Namibia, doing some of the best spots.
And a big focus on doing custom made tours in Namibia. All our trips will be private trips, taking a maximum of four people.

I’m back …
Oh no, cried blog world … he’s back!

But guess what, I’m glad I decided to make a comeback.
If I didn´t rejoin SWF I would never have the chance to see this great post ... I guess your SWF must be your header photo!

You have a nice looking blog that is interesting to read and your photography is pleasant to just study and admire. I do envy you the places you have been and the things you have seen. It is nice to be able to do these sorts of things when you are younger as it is harder to do when you are older like me. I wish you a good day, a good life and a prosperous future.
